Sunset Weddings 

Thank you for considering Sunset Ranch as your location to host your Wedding, Banquet or Corporate Event. We always are willing to go the extra mile to make your event an extra special one.

Reception Location:

The Sunset Ranch Dining Room is a great location for hosting your event. The Dining Room will sit 110 guests maximum. Depending on floor space (i.e. dance floor), a smaller number may be set as the maximum.

Sunset Ranch will offer the room complimentary when a dinner entrée of $25.50 or higher, and a bar minimum of $11.00 per person has been established. A room rental levy of $250.00 may be charged for groups smaller than 70.

The Sunset Ranch Dining Room has extensive windows overlooking the golf course, high ceilings, and a fresh look for the 2007 Season.

Dinner Service:

We have 3 different service options to make your event extra special. We offer Full Buffet, Plate Service Dinner (up to 7 courses), or reception style. Please note that if selecting plate service dinner, all guests must have the same item.

Our Culinary team at Sunset Ranch Golf Course is second to none, including Head Chef Herbert Ferner. Herbert joins the Sunset Ranch team after leaving the Coast Capri ”Vintage” Dining Room, where he was Head Chef for nearly 33 years.  Herbert always uses the freshest of ingredients and takes the highest quality in the preparation of all events.

Bar Service:

The Sunset Ranch Bar is always fully stocked, including a wide selection of Wines. Premium liquors are also available including scotches and whiskies.

The host party will need to determine how they would like guests to pay for drinks. The option of open bar, cash bar or twoonie bar options are all available. Please notify Sunset Ranch 1 week prior to the event.
15% gratuity will be applied to the bill

Dancing:

You may hire a DJ or live entertainment to play at Sunset Ranch after your dinner. There is a 12x12 dance floor in the dining room. Sunset Ranch is equipped with a cordless microphone and PA system for your event.

We highly recommend the Professionals as a disc jockey company. We have used them in the past and have been highly recommended by guests.

Decorations:

Sunset Ranch will allow the decorating party to decorate at the earliest convenience. Usually that will be the morning of the event, but if the calendar allows, groups may be given up to 24 hours prior to decorate. Staples are NOT allowed on the walls. Non-marking tape, or sticky tacks are preferred.

Candles are allowed on the tables, but open flames must be covered. Decorations must be cleaned up by 9:00am of the next morning. Any items remaining after 9:00am will be recycled.

Linens:

Sunset Ranch will supply the following items. Linens (white), Cloth Napkins (white), and all tables, chairs, and stemware. If you desire colors other than white, you may rent from a party rental place.

Payment Options:

We require a $500.00 down payment to secure your reception, and is payable upon confirmation.  Any additional charges can be taken care of the night of the event.

Plate Service Selections
Because plate service options can vary to meet the requirements of the host party, all menu decisions will be made during a meeting with the host party, the Head Chef, and the Food and Beverage Manager. Please be reminded that when selecting the plate service option, all guests must have the same meal. Vegetarian and allergic requests will be met.
